Emmaus elected officials enjoy welcoming new businesses into the community and the Emmaus Main Street Partners through ribbon-cutting ceremonies throughout the year"Emma" in downtown Emmaus, in front of the Clock building, is part of the "Miles of Mules" display of fiberglass mules celebrating the Lehigh-Delaware River Heritage CorridorSanta and Mrs. Claus arrive in Emmaus the first weekend in December to participate in the annual Old Fashioned Christmas celebration and Christmas tree lighting at the Emmaus Triangle.

Originally founded in 1759 as a Moravian village, the Borough of Emmaus and its 12,000 residents are proud to live in a quaint, historic community recognized as one of the the best U.S. small towns, offering outstanding dining and shopping opportunities, vibrant arts and cultural activities and top schools.
